Bine ați venit!
My name is Joseph Lutz. In June 2018, I started my Peace Corps journey in the country of Moldova, serving as a Community Economic Development volunteer. I primarily work in a library with secondary partners being the local school, primaria, and local NGO. My area of work is in community and economic development, working to make these organizations in my village more sustainable.
A Little about Myself
In May 2017, I graduated from Purdue University. And prior to serving in the Peace Corps, I worked for a local museum and the Department of Parks & Rec in a city government in the state of Indiana (If you are thinking of the TV show, my job was like that). I loved those jobs and living in the Midwest, but now I am excited for this new chapter in my life.
I have many years of experience in the writing and journalist field. I have worked for a regional newspaper as a columnist and a News Correspondent, and rose to the rank of editor and publisher of a community newsletter. I’ve tried my hands at many other types of writing, and now as a new adventure unfolds before me, the next step was to start a blog. I have created this blog to make it easier for everyone back home to follow along with this journey I will be on for the next 2 years and to help people become more knowledgeable about the country of Moldova. Thank you for reading.
