Bine ați venit!
My name is Joseph Lutz. In June 2018, I started my Peace Corps journey in the country of Moldova, serving as a Community Economic Development volunteer. I primarily worked in a library with secondary partners being the local school, primaria, and local NGO. My area of work was in community and economic development, working to make these organizations in my village more sustainable.
A Little about Myself
In May 2017, I graduated from Purdue University. And prior to serving in the Peace Corps, I worked for a local museum and the Department of Parks & Rec in a city government in the state of Indiana (If you are thinking of the TV show, my job was like that). I loved those jobs and living in the Midwest. Peace Corps was a profound experience, and now I am excited for the new chapter in my life.
I have many years of experience in the writing and journalist field. I have worked for a regional newspaper as a columnist and a News Correspondent, and rose to the rank of editor and publisher of a community newsletter. I’ve tried my hands at many other types of writing, and now as a new adventure unfolds before me, the next step was to start a blog. I originally created this blog to make it easier for everyone back home to follow along with the journey I was on for the 2 years I was in Moldova. Now that I am back in the states, I plan to expand this blog to cover more travels and adventures. Thank you for reading and be on the lookout for new articles starting in mid-December 2021.
