“Sometimes we need the fog to remind ourselves that all of life is not just black and white.” – Jonathan Lockwood Huie
The last few weeks have brought about a change in weather. Autumn has definitely arrived. And with this seasonal change brought along some early morning fog.

A lot of these photos were taken at the second half of October. So for me, it felt like Halloween had come early.
Fog is an interesting phenomenon. It only shows up for a few times a year and only lasts a few hours a day. I think it’s a great representation of more than the changing seasons. It helps me recognize that change happens all the time and yet we can miss it sometimes or not recognize its beauty.
I can’t believe I have been in Moldova for over 17 months now. It’s hard to believe, yet every day is a new adventure with new sights to see. Most of the pictures I’ve shared today are areas around my village, but also of areas around me. I never tire of seeing many of these views (with and without the fog).

Peace Corps Moldova even had a spooky contest, which the fog definitely helped with the effects. (Check out some of the pictures at the bottom of this post or on Instagram.)
